Join the CARE program!
The Certified Auto Ride in an Emergency (CARE) program is also known as the guaranteed ride home. For an annual fee of only $5, you can receive up to FOUR FREE cab rides each year (up to 30 miles within the AACOG region), when an emergency arises. To qualify for the CARE program, you must carpool, vanpool, or take the bus at least three times a week.

How do I sign up?
  1. Complete the registration form


  2. Mail the form and $5 registration fee (Check or Money Order) to:

    ATTN: Natural Resources Outreach Specialist
  3. The vouchers will be mailed to you.


  4. Read the program guidelines and terms of use before taking your first taxi ride.
