What is Vanpooling?

Vanpooling is ideal for commuters traveling a long distance to work everyday. The transit system provides the van. You provide the driver and share the cost of gas. Vanpooling greatly reduces gasoline and parking costs, traffic hassles, vehicle emissions–and lets you arrive at work or home more rested and relaxed.

Which Vanpool Service do I use?

If your vanpool commute begins or ends inside San Antonio, your vanpool service will be coordinated by VIA Metropolitan Transit in San Antonio. If your commute is in Austin, Capital Metro will provide your vanpool service. But don’t worry you can register as a vanpool candidate at one place – the River Cities Rideshare site.
